Developing fine handmade jewelry, a vanishing art demands highly trained hands to operate tools and transmute precious metals and gemstones into works of art. Because of this, jewelry aficionados all around the world recognize handmade jewelry as the gold standard for fantastic jewelry artistry.

As a result, jewelry design should begin with a source of inspiration. A jewelry designer can be attracted by a variety of factors. Focusing on the goals and demands of the intended consumers is one of the primary motivations for jewelry designers.

Another option is to capitalize on current business and fashion trends by expanding on popular themes. A free-spirited method is where artists follow their own dreams and let the materials and gems guide the design.

In reality, valuable gems and metals deserve a little more research. When creating exquisite jewelry, we must understand the desires of the people who will be wearing it. A wide range of aspects must be taken into account, ranging from color and styling to material costs.

For some designers, this is done by a basic pencil sketch whereas some require a 3D effect design which will make their job easier. Many of today's artists will use CAD jewelry design to create a thorough computer rendering, while others will only work with a mental image. We at Punyaah Boutique have customized handmade pieces of jewelry which involve basic pencil sketches which are followed by other processes.

The original design will continue to evolve during the whole creation process, regardless of the methods used. Once the jewelry construction begins, it appears that minor adjustments are unavoidable. It's hard for jewelers to anticipate all of the technical issues that arise during the manufacturing and setting of the jewelry.

Want to know the designing steps involved in the process of jewelry making, Let’s focus on that:

Outlining the Design:

Before entering into designing the basic step to begin is to draft the outline. Here, we have our finest designers who sketch the craft after grabbing the audience's desires.

3D wax Printing:

In most advanced jewelry production, 3D printing equipment is used to make a wax model composed of resin, which usually takes less than 48 hours.

Casting Wax into Metal:

At this stage, the molded wax is melted away and is restored with the metal of your choice (usually gold, silver, platinum).

Fabrication:

The final fabrication may take 3 days to 3 weeks. Although casting converts the jewelry into exquisite metal, the jeweler must make necessary aesthetic alterations and ensure that the piece can support gemstones functionally.

Stone incorporation:

Finally, The diamond setter places the center stone into the mount with care.If side stones are used they must be hand-drilled before being placed. They then use a microscope to place each stone individually.

Finishing Stage:

A polisher works to ensure that the metal is perfectly polished and as gleaming as possible. As final touches engravings are applied. The jewelry is examined and each detail is scrutinized to ensure that production went smoothly.

There the final product will be in your hands!
